Now that I am no longer nursing and have no more excuses, I decided to get serious about losing weight. I checked out myalli.com and decided to start on their plan and their pill. Alli is a pill that connects to about a 1/4 of the fat you eat so you digest it, instead of it going into your system. I have been good about counting my calories and fat grams because I don't want the "treatment effects." And I quote, "Treatment effects may include gas with oily spotting, loose stools, and more frequent stools that may be hard to control." In another part, they even mention bringing a change of clothes with you to work. Yikes! Fortunately, because I've been good, I haven't had any treatment effects. I've been feeling good. Between the healthy food, the spring weather, and the extra excercise (sometimes twice a day), I've had more energy than ever. My weight loss since I started last Saturday has been (drumroll please) three pounds! I don't expect that kind of result every week, but I feel proud of myself. I never realized how much fat and calories I was eating until I started writing down everything thing I ate. Now, I can be smart about what I eat and not feel hungry but stay between 1500-1600 calories.
Anyway, I'm sharing all this because I want to check in with you few readers of my blog every now and then and tell you how I'm doing. I figure this will be a little extra motivation.
And no, I am not going to share some hideous "before" picture of me in a swimming suit. Believe me, nobody wants to see that. I'll share a picture at the end of the summer. I hope that by then, I will be out of the plus size clothing.

Good for you! Maybe you can become one of their success story spoke-person's. Looking forward to the end-of-summer photos (giving you some additional motivation:)).
I'm proud of you. I still have 6 pounds of baby weight to lose and it's been 8 months. I hope it comes off soon so I can fit into my summer clothes I didn't get to wear last year! Good luck with the weight loss. I'm rooting for you.
You Go Girl! I will be cheering for you... and jumping on the same bandwagon in about 6 months.
