Birthday and Easter

On Saturday the 11th we had a combination Easter/Birthday party. We ate pigs-n-blankets and fruits and veggies. Then the kids went out for an Easter egg hunt. Anastasia did not like the feel of the grass and stayed on her blanket. (Plus, it was little cold.) the birthday girl

You know how they say you get more relaxed about some things the more kids you have? It's true. For Emma's first birthday, I made a carrot cake that I got from the baby book. I don't think it had any sugar in it. For Anastasia's birthday, I ordered a cake from Sam's. Chocolate on chocolate - yum. Anastasia loved it; it was her first sugary treat.

Anastasia's FIRST sugary treat?! What a good mom. She looks adorable, as usual (Where do you get all those fun hairbands?), and the celebration(s) appeared grand. Thanks for sharing with everyone who couldn't be there.
