I have quite a few pictures to post of our summer activities. These first were ones were taken on the 4th of July. The girls and I had fun watching the Layton parade and then at the carnival. That night we took both girls to the fireworks for the first time. Jesse and his friend Joiee (sp?) also came.
The last week of June we went to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden. We all had fun looking at the dinosaur recreations. Alan and I thought the best part was the museum there. The Ogden River flows next to the park. It was flowing so fast and full. I should have taken some video.
Apparently, three year old girls are trouble!
On the 9th, we went to the Days of 47 Family Fun Day at the state fair grounds. I was very impressed with the free crafts, games, and rides. Doesn't Anna look like she's having fun!

Emma tried out for the Days of 47 mini royalty. The current royalty interviews the kids and ask them about ten questions. Some guy had a tv camera right in Emma's face and she was a little nervous but she did well. When they asked her how she would design a float, she said that she would have books on it. She won in her age division, which makes her the first attendant. The prize pack from Radio Disney was pretty cool, the Lemonade Mouth dvd and 6 tickets to the Winnie the Pooh preview, which we went to last night and loved.
Emma will be in the Days of 47 youth parade on Saturday. I'll post pictures of it later.

Looks like fun!
Glad someone is still posting on their blog! The girls look so cute in their 4th of July outfits and I do love Emma's hair. Now she is an official princess! :)
Cool. Way to score the pageant swag, Emma!
