Emma's birthday party

I'm so tired I'll probably have some typos but here it goes anyway. Last Saturday we had Emma's birthday party at our house. We spent all day getting ready at a frantic pace which makes me think that next year we'll just go to Chucky Cheeses or something. Anyway, we had a cheerleader theme so when the girls got here we did hair and made door hangers and pom poms. Then we had "concession stand" type food, hot dogs, nachos, chips, and yes mom, we had carrot sticks and apples too. Then Emma opened her many presents - only three of which were from us. Her favorite gift was from her friend Abby - a pink cat with jewelry and a bag to carry her in. She also has been having fun with the cheerleader barbies I got her. I'm posting a picture of her in the darling Cinderella pajamas her Grandma Carol made her. After presents was cake and then a little time to do a cheerleading exercise video. I borrowed a projector from school and used it outside. I'm going to try this again and pull out sleeping bags and popcorn - doesn't that sound fun! Everyone seemed to have fun and the birthday girl thought the party was great.
