Alan and I finally went digital (we bought a digital camera a couple weeks ago). Now that it will be easier to put pictures on my computer, and because I have more time in the summer, and because most of my family is out of state, and because I enjoy Ellen's so much, I decided it was time to start my own blog. I have a plethora of pictures from the 4th, so let's start there, shall we? We began with having some of Alan's family over for breakfast. I don't have any pictures because I was feeding the baby while everyone else was having the delicious cornmeal/whole wheat pancakes with strawberries and blueberries while I fed the baby (the joys of nursing). Then we went to the local parade. Emma's favorite part was seeing the cheerleaders. She also liked the float that looked like a shower.

To be honest. The cornmeal pancakes weren't bad. I liked them. Nice blog. Maybe I will start mine back up.
