growing up

It's funny what toddlers notice without you even realizing it. I was getting Emma her breakfast this morning while Anastasia worked on her bowl of Cheerios that she had put on the kitchen stool. She saw me and Emma looking up to the cupboard where we keep the cereal as Emma was deciding which one she wanted. Anastasia promptly took her bowl off of the stool and carried the stool over to the cupboard, exactly where I needed it to get into the cupboard. She's also good at finding stuff for us in the living room (telephones, remotes, socks, etc.). She's growing up to be a good observer like her sister.
