Emma's birthday

The lucky girl got two parties this year. On the day of the party, we took her and her friends to Chucky Cheeses. They seemed to enjoy themselves and the food was better than I thought it would be. Anastasia was fascinated by the mechanical mouse that would talk and sing.

On Sunday, we had a get together for family and our neighbors the Dodges, who are practically family. Emma received some very nice presents. She got four Barbies (including two Kens) and lots of Barbie clothes from the Dodges. Her grandma Carol made her a darling three piece velour outfit.

At home, Emma opened her presents and we ate ice cream sandwiches. The evening ended with an impromptu conga (sp?) line.

I love how she tips her head to one side for all her pictures. As they get older, they seem to lose some spontenaity in their pictures. She's still so beautiful....watch out for the teenage years, she's going to break a lot of hearts. :)

Emma talks about wanting to be in the fashion industry someday so yes, she always has to pose when I take her picture.

I love the velour outfit--again, wish I could sew. Happy 7th Emma.
