Happy 4th of July everyone! We had a great time doing local stuff. We started the day with some red, white, and blue waffles and eggs. Jesse had come the night before so he was there too.


Then we walked a few blocks to see the parade. Someone was passing out flags, which was a good thing because Anastasia was very entertained by waving her flags during the parade.

You can't tell from this picture, but I have lost 20 pounds now. Alan owes me another date. I'm thinking dinner in SLC and the MoTab pioneer days concert.
And finally, a short patriotic concert featuring the dancing of Anastasia and the musical stylings of Jesse Compton.

Send her picture in! The waffles looked delicious, too. I worked on the 4th, but the rest of the family headed to the mountain to find snow (which they did:)). I'm trying to get Kevin to post about their day, but who knows. . . .
