County Fair

Yesterday, I went back to school. But before then, we had one last hurrah and went to the county fair. It was fun because they had a lot of things for kids to do. First was the baby contest. I entered both girls and no, neither won. Emma had fun though (she seems to like a stage) and she got a ribbon so no one left empty handed. Then we went to a tent that had games (like cow milking) and Emma got a balloon swan. Then we went to the science tent. Emma loved doing the big bubbles and I got her to hold the millipede. I held the hissing cockroach. Yuck! Then we went to the booths and then got some lunch. Next was the rabbit hutch and the hen house. Some pretty amazing looking animals. Then Emma got her free pony ride. After that, we went to a lumberjack demonstration and Emma got the chair one of the men had just sawed out of a piece of wood. Last was the petting zoo.
